Did you know the first Mason Jar was named and patented in 1858 and today is still being used for a variety of things. From home canning, organizing, cocktail glasses, wedding favors among the many uses. In 2015, a stock-photo marketplace Shutterstock released a reportof what types of images people were buying and in the social media world, pictures of food were being tagged with the words “rustic, homemade and mason jars” which sky rocketed. Mason Jar meals are still a great way to prep fun on-the-go meals such as salads, breakfast oats, eggs and a plethora of others.
