There’s a lot to do before the big feast. Here are a few little tips to help you get through the day stress free!

#1. No Roasting Rack?

Use carrots, onions, and celery to elevate the turkey, plus add a ton of flavor to your drippings!

Turn your leftover pies into milkshakes. Take one piece whizzed in the blender with some ice cream and call it heaven.

#3. Toast Nuts in the Microwave!

If your recipe calls for a toasted nuts and your short on time, try microwaving them in 1-minute intervals for about 5-7 minutes, stir each time.

#4. Buy Pre-Peeled Garlic!

Lets face it, with all the different way to peel garlic— it’s still a time sucker. Most grocery stores carry this convenient bag of pre-peeled garlic cloves. And don’t worry about it tasting different, we couldn’t tell a difference except with the time we saved!

#5. Pull out your plates and platters the night before.

We like to pull out the platters and serving utensils the night before and put post it notes on each one. That way when your guests arrive and you need help they know what goes with what and takes out the second guessing in crunch time.

#6. Ran out of serving bowls?

We love this idea, hollow out & roast a small pumpkin.

#7. Want a picture perfect turkey?

Brush balsamic vinegar over it in the last 10-15 minutes it’s roasting and voila!

#8. Over cooked the bird?

Drizzle it with warm chicken broth to revive that flavor and moisten the meat.

#9. White or Red Wine?

Always have both, but a Pinot Noir pairs well with turkey and its fixings.

#10. Boil the potatoes in skins?

Yes, boil potatoes for 15 minutes, drain and the skins will fall right off.

That does it! Remember, stay organized and drink plenty of water throughout the day and enjoy! Happy Thanksgiving!
