Roasted Garlic & Sun-Dried Tomato Spread Bread
1 loaf Italian Bread
1 bulb garlic
olive oil
1/2 cup California Sun Dry Sun-Dried Tomato Spread
1/4 cup fresh basil
1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese
Heat oven to 400 degrees.
Cut off top of garlic bulb and pour a small amount of olive oil over it. Wrap in foil and bake for 1 hour, or until garlic is soft. Let cool.
Pre-heat broiler (medium).
Cut bread into 1/2" slices and brush with olive oil. Toast in broiler. Remove from oven and do the same to the other side of the bread. Let cool.
Remove roasted garlic from skin and spread 1 clove onto each slice of bread. Spread California Sun Dry Sun-Dried Tomato Spread on top of the garlic, sprinkle with fresh grated Parmesan cheese and top with fresh basil.
Place in 350 degree oven for 3-5 mins. just to warm.
